What commonly causes delays

- 02The court investigator will contact you and may visit. That step is scheduled by the court, not by you.

Is guardianship the same as adoption?
No, they are different legal processes with different effects. Which one fits your situation is a legal question, and an LDA cannot advise you on it. Beacon can prepare guardianship paperwork at your direction once you have decided.
Do both parents have to agree?
