Beacon of Trust is Danell Olivera. She is the person who takes the first call, prepares the documents, and follows the matter through to the last filing. There is no intake desk and no handoff to somebody you have not spoken to.
That is the point of working this way. When you call back three weeks later with a question, you are talking to the person who did the work and already knows what is in your file.
Why this exists
Most people who need court paperwork done do not need a lawyer's judgment. They need the forms filled out correctly, filed on time, and served properly — and they need it to cost something they can actually pay.
The gap between doing it yourself and hiring an attorney is where a Legal Document Assistant works. Beacon of Trust exists to fill it for people in Redding and Shasta County, with care and without judgment about how they ended up needing it.
How Beacon works
The whole matter is handled by one person, from the first call through to the last filing. Most document services prepare the forms and hand them back; here the filing, the copies and the service paperwork are part of the job.
Payment plans are available in writing, because legal paperwork tends to arrive at the worst possible financial moment and the cost of it should not be the reason it does not get done.

Give you legal advice
No opinions, no recommendations, and no answer to “what should I do”. That is attorney work, and it is not a formality.

A Legal Document Assistant cannot appear for you, speak for you at a hearing, or negotiate on your behalf.
